The ICRA FMC Workshop is a three dimensional workshop that was built for: Hospital Facilities/Maintenance Personnel Healthcare Contractors Infection Preventionists

The ICRA FMC Certification Workshop is a two-day in-person workshop that will consist of education taught by healthcare facilities and construction experts. There will be three scenarios that will lead to all in attendance getting to perform hands-on building of containment using different industry approved equipment. Attendees will learn how to assemble infection control documents such as PCRA’s, ICRA’s, Interim/Alternative Life Safety Assessments and will receive bountiful information that is important to all involved on healthcare construction & maintenance projects.

 If you are a healthcare organization or are providing construction work for a hospital and would like to have your new hires or current employees in facilities, maintenance, engineering, construction, or infection control, gain a greater understanding of Infection Control Guidelines that need to be performed and assessed when everyday maintenance or construction activities are taking place in a hospital, this class was designed for that purpose.

The ICRA FMC 2-day workshop will not only have a trainer with 35+ years of experience, they will also get to hear healthcare construction perspectives from three guest speakers in the field of Electrical, Facilities Management, and Infection Prevention.  There will be an optional exam at the end of the two days. It will cover all topics that we have discussed. If you choose to not take the exam you can leave an hour and a half early. If you choose to take the ICRA FMC Exam and pass, you will receive your ICRA FMC Certification! This certification tells the hospital you are working at that you have the competency to know how to follow Infection Control Guidelines while performing work at their facility. Thus this certification will extend reassurance to the hospital that you are doing your best to prevent a hospital acquired infection created from your worksite.  These classes will be on Mondays & Tuesdays from 8:30am -4:30pm EST.
